i recently bought a lensbaby composer and i LOVE it. unfortunately, i've had it for nearly a month and haven't gotten to get out and shoot anything with it. I can't wait until my next day off! The weather is warmer now, and some friends are planning a trip to the Bronx zoo which should be a great place to try out the lensbaby, as well as get some shots with my other lenses. I haven't been shooting that much on my own. Lately, the only time a camera is in my hands is when I'm at work. And I despise my day job (I work at a mall studio taking pictures of babies and children - very underpaid and under appreciated). After taking pictures of screaming, crying children all day (not to mention singing, dancing around, making funny noises and faces to get them to smile), dealing with the moms who treat me as if my job is worth less than that of a regular retail worker's, and also dealing with customer service complaints about my "too artistic" style of photography... I don't really come home in much of a mood to pick up my own camera. It really saddens me. I can't wait to get out and start shooting more for myself. This week alone I have a solid 6 day work week. My next day off won't be until sometime next week, but I am definitely taking advantage of it to get some of my own work done. I really want to use my lensbaby! I'm excited to use it, and I can't wait to see the results I get

Over and over, I felt so small
But one day I'll be stronger,
And you better watch out.
